Out of Office

Keys are in the Igloo lockbox mounted on the pole to your right as you approach the front door (same key for the house and garage). There are two lockboxes - ensure you are at the correct one.

The alarm panel is to your right inside the front door. It should be off when you arrive. If you want to use it during your stay, let us know.

To lock the front door, lift the handle up, then lock with the deadbolt (inside) or the key (outside).

Garbage pickup Friday. Bins can be set out by the road Thursday evening and brought back in Friday night.

Inside Fireplace

The inside fireplace is turned on and off using the remote mounted on the wall next to the thermostat panel. To turn it on, move the System switch to Heat. Adjust the flame by increasing or decreasing the temperature on the remote. The fireplace will automatically turn off when it reaches the set temperature.

If the pilot light is off, follow instructions here to re-light it.

Outside Fireplace

The outside fireplace is turned on and off using the timer switch to the left of the fireplace.

Heat/AC in the loft

There is a white remote to control the unit. You must turn it off, then back on to switch between heat/ac. By default, this will be turned off when you arrive.

Fire extinguisher

There is a fire extinguisher located in the entry closet. We hope you don't need to use it!

After turning the TV on, press the Home button to open the Home screen menu. The remote's navigation pad is the outer circular pad. Use it to navigate to the app you want to use. To select the app, click the inner circle.

If the app isn't listed on the Home menu, use the navigation pad to select Apps, and then select the app you want. You may need to search.

Some apps require a login (like Netflix and Prime). You may need to login with your information to access them.

Steam shower

The steam control panel is located inside the master shower. Push the power button to turn it on. It can take a few minutes to warm up and will automatically shut off based on the timer. The spout gets very hot, so be sure to avoid touching it.

Hot tub

The cover may be strapped down. Click the button on the end of the two straps to open it up.

Half a lid full of shock treatment should be added after each use in order to keep it clean.

If the hot tub isn't getting hot enough, check the mode - it should be set to Auto, not Economy. From the Settings Menu, tap up or down to highlight the "Heat & Filter" menu tab. Tap Heat & Filter to the enter the menu, then select Auto.

BBQ

The grill is hooked up to natural gas. There are two safety switches - one is near the sliding door, the other is behind the grill (see images below). Ensure both are in the on position then set the timer (behind the grill) to start it. Please make sure you turn the gas off after you are done grilling.
